Specialty: Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology Dr. Cheshty is board certified in Internal Medicine. She earned her medical degree at the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate School of Medicine in Brooklyn, NY and completed her medical residency at North Shore University Hospital –New York University (NYU) School of Medicine. Dr. Cheshty pursued her fellowship training in gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition at Loyola University Medical Center – Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. She was also a member of the medical staff of the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital and Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital. Her special interests include women’s health and nutrition issues. She has presented research findings at the American College of Gastroenterology's Annual Scientific Meeting and the International Digestive Disease Week Convention.
